A space that is well-organized and has a calming, spa-like design can help people prepare for the day. Recently, a couple came to Abbey Design Center requesting a master bathroom remodel. They wanted a functional bathroom with ample storage. They envisioned a bathroom that was warm and inviting with hints of Hollywood glamour.

Building a Better Bathroom

First, Abbey’s design team met with the couple to discuss their bathroom remodel ideas. The Northern Virginia homeowners’ renovation wish list included more storage, better accessibility, and a larger shower. They wanted their bathroom to combine a relaxing feel and “Hollywood” style.

After Abbey’s designers knew what their clients wanted, they began their design plan to make the space more open and functional. First, they removed the corner tub. Then, they tore down the wall that enclosed the water close, which opened the room up to bring a more organic flow to the space. These small adjustments made all the difference. The bathroom space was much more spacious and open already.

Installing Spa-style Fixtures

Next, Abbey’s team began installation for the bathroom remodel. professional team of craftsman installed a vanity to replace the corner tub. They then made the space functional by inserting a custom-built cabinet bench with a quartz top. This luxurious touch also provided extra seating and storage. Then, they enlarged the shower. The team used the space previously taken up by the water closet to make the shower more open. After that, the small and dated bathroom vanities were replaced with two tall cabinets. This replacement made a dramatic visual impact and gave the homeowners even more storage for bathroom essentials. Finally, they installed new built-in linen cabinets to accommodate the spa essentials of any Hollywood-inspired retreat.

Beautiful Bathroom Remodel Come to Life

Next, the Abbey team put in the finishing visual touches. They added in natural textured stone tiles and created a warm desert color palette to bring the couple’s glamorous bathroom dream to life.

The final result was an earthy, luxury spa-like bathroom that the couple was happy to start their mornings in each day. Abbey Design Center took their work beyond expectations to deliver a beautiful and functional master bathroom remodel.
